I took the Women's Self-Defense Techniques class tonight and learned so much. My son was a Marine and my ex-husband is a Houston Police Officer and they had both taught me Defensive Techniques but nothing like the ones I learned tonight. I have been raped and molested in the past and at the time did not have a clue what to do. Now I know how to handle myself and what to do if this ever occurs again. Tim Mousel teaches Defensive Techniques in a way that is easy to follow and I walked out of there with a sense of security. I believe every woman as well as girl should take this course. It is worth every penny and it may save your life!

I have never attended a self defence course and with everything that's going on right now in the world I thought it would be a good idea to check it out. Tim is a wonderful and very professional teacher. He teaches very proficient and to the point. I would recommend everyone and anyone to at least attend one class. I saw people that had been abused, gain the confedence that they needed through this two hour course. For my self I feel prepared and confident to be able to handel a situation if it were to come about.

My friends and I took this course, and loved it. I feel much more confident now, and I encourage anyone looking to do a class to try it. You won't be dissapointed.

All of us think that we'd know what to do in an assault situation, but taking this course gives you the knowledge and skills you normally don't think about. Tim is very helpful and I highly recommend this course.

One suggestion I'd make is to take advantage of Tim's vast knowledge and come with lots of questions and scenarios. He's very qualified to tell you what you need to do in those situations.

I was really nervous to find out how puny I was but Tim taught moves that you can do at any size. The class was great and I would recommend it to anyone.

The women's self defense course is a worthwhile investment for everyone wanting to gain skills and knowledge to defend yourself in today's environment. From the practical advice to the actual one on one exercises, you won't be bored or disappointed! You'll walk away from this class with a sense of inner strength and confidence.
I only wish it were a weekly class!

My friend Iris always pushed to take it and I always wanted to but not until I had my house broken into last fall that I thought Ok Yes I need to take it! It was a great class and Tim, the instructor, demonstrated moves and scenarios that you can use in case you are ever faced in that situation. I have to admit that in almost every case there were moves I would have never thought of doing! You do all the moves with your partner so yes take someone you feel comfortable pushing around. After class we asked if him if he would do the attacks on us and not let us go until we could free ourselves. BOY that was interesting. It was a tough challenge but we did it! I flipped him over twice but only because I used his techniques. I was surprised of my strength! Seriously if you can take it you should. He is really good and anything helps out specially with all the craziness going around right now.

You can read the tips online, you can watch other tips on TV, but being in Tim’s class sets the stage. He goes over the basics which can help mentally prepares you in case the situation ever arises.

The opportunity to practice the techniques on a partner in class is helpful on-hands experience.

I definitely picked up some valuable strategies.

TAKE THIS CLASS, IT IS WORTH IT!!

If you believe you know what do just b/c you have read emails that tell you what to do if you were attacked, THINK AGAIN. Reading an email and having a hands-on instrutctor explaining/discussing scenarios is completely different.

Tim discusses hold/manuevers and their impacts. He not only teaches you what to do, and why you should do it but he demonstrates what not to do and why not to do it. He covers ground (if you are pinned down) as well, that is very informative!

This class is a hands-on class. If you feel uncomfortable working with a strangers, attend with a friend.

Please consider taking this class, he will show you manuevuers/techniques that can (and will) protect & save your life.

Tim is very nice and professional. This is a great class!!!

I cannot overstate the value of Mousel's Women's Self-Defense Course. Tim Mousel's course is wonderfully simple, yet a very powerful approach on how to best defend oneself in dangerous situations and I feel safer as a result. His ability to crisply communicate real world techniques is a tremendous value in itself. I highly recommend this course to everyone I know!
